316th FS 324th FG Posted August 6, 2010 Share #4 Posted August 6, 2010 That's great! I have been trying to find out if their is a Clubmobile Alumni Association. The 324th FG had a Clubmobile detachment that traveled with them across North Africa, Italy France and in to Germany. Would love to find any of them and reconnect them to the guys. You might want to get in touch with Shirley P. She knows almost all the group of Clubmobilers that are still around. Also, i will try to post as much as i can the parts of the newsletter of evry issue of the Sinker. There's a lot of mention of the different Clubmobiles to what base or group of G.I's they were attached.... Fraukriegbaum

fortworthgal Posted August 11, 2010 Share #18 Posted August 11, 2010 Very cool! It is so interesting to me how there were so many little newsletters around during WWII. I never cease to be amazed by finding them at flea markets and things. It seems every group around had their own newsletter! A very unique slice of history.
