SNYDER 1909-1986 Service Battery 20th Field Artillery Regiment Howard Snyder draft in September 1943 , he was from franklin Ohio, married to Eva snyder . Assigned to 20th field artillery regiment , on of artillery regiment (105mm) in 4th infantry division he went to Normandy just after D-Day. He was in all campaigns for the liberation of europe with the 4th Ivy Div Back to civil life in end 1945 , he passed away October 1986. Patch , collar disc artillery , qualification field artillery carabine and driver , his dog tags , ribbon with 5 battle Star , crest .... Photo dated from August 1944 12km from Paris , Snyder is on the left , marked ont he back "Ed and Frank , with Love ED " maybe sent to his wife .
