New Romantic Posted July 19, 2010 Share #3 Posted July 19, 2010 Does anyone have a sisde by side photo of the difference between the 1907 and the M1909 suspenders ? There was no M1909 suspenders. There were only the M1903 and M1907. But I think one of the Mills Catalogs lists the M1907 as "M1909". Here are the Mills M1903 suspenders. New Romantic Posted July 19, 2010 Share #5 Posted July 19, 2010 And here's the M1907 from my site which Kphun posted the link to. I forgot Trenchraider 1918's M1903 suspenders are on there!
New Romantic Posted July 19, 2010 Share #6 Posted July 19, 2010 If you need any more photos I can provide that. Russell made their own version of the M1903 suspenders and Keystone has a set. Maybe he can post them here.

gpw_42 Posted July 19, 2010 Share #8 Posted July 19, 2010 Frankie, BEAUTIFUL items!!! Can you imagine how miserable that stuff must have been to wear? Was there a field pack in that era's kit (akin to the M1910 pack?), or were they still using blanket rolls? Thanks for showing it! Steve

I've seen these as circa 1914. Photos are from http://www.jmurrayinc1944.com/greatwar.htm That's where I scored my M1903 Suspenders.

Steve Hi Steve, there was no field pack issued with the M1903 equipment. The blanket roll was carried and haversack worn on the left hip.
