disneydave Posted July 28, 2007 Share #1 Posted July 28, 2007 The first image in this post shows original art created by Hank Porter for a newspaper story. The second image shows how the art was actually used. The story featured nine different Disney insignia designs as well as images from The New Spirit, (an income tax film produced by Disney for the United States Treasury Department) and Thrifty Pig (a bond film Disney produced for the Canadian government). This article appeared on one-half of the front page of the Roto Section of the July 5, 1942 issue of The Milwaukee Journal.
