Mr-X Posted July 7, 2010 Share #1 Posted July 7, 2010 I am trying to find out if there is a way to tell the difference between an Australian made 'Blouse Khaki U.S.A' manufactured for the USMC and one made for the Army? Does anybody have any ideas? I suspect that they are the same.
teufelhunde.ret Posted July 7, 2010 Share #2 Posted July 7, 2010 I suspect that they are the same. I believe you are correct  , hopefully someone with expert knowledge will come up on the net...?
TLeo Posted July 7, 2010 Share #3 Posted July 7, 2010 I am certainly no expert but the Vandegrift jackets I've seen have have two button closure at the center waist front and buckle adjustments on the side while the Army ones I see seem to have a extended "flap" sort of like a belt that extends across the front and fastens. I'd like to hear from the experts here if that is true for all Ikes and Vandegrifts or just a variation and depends on the makers.
