Would this be considered a Swirl Patch

I wanted to know if this would be considered a "swirl" patch. Would this patch have been worn or not? Thanks Guys..

I kinda doubt it is being worn as the F-35 has not entered service yet. It's only in the developement and early test stage. None have been assigned to units yet so it makes you wonder why it's marked 58FS on the reverse. :think:

Yeah I know. I was wondering why it was marked that way also. This came in a bag of other patches I got.

I believe the 58th Fighter Squadron stood down in september 2009 and got rid of there F-15s, then stood up in October 2009 to start training on the F-35. Aircraft are expected to arrive at the end of this year and be at full strength in 2014. the squadron will be the first operational F-35 squadron.

there are also different aircraft. these are from the 88th FTS, 133rd ARS and 527th TFTS. there are probably hundreds for swirls Mostly F-15 and F-16 out there.
