teufelhunde.ret Posted June 27, 2010 Share #1 Posted June 27, 2010 All, History Detectives started new season last week, next week the show will have a segment on a hand-drawn map of Iwo Jima retrieved from the body of a Japanese Solider. Always an interesting season of shows...

BEAST Posted June 27, 2010 Share #5 Posted June 27, 2010 THanks for posting this. I thought that History Detectives had gone off the air for good. It has been advertised very well on my local PBS station.

Cobrahistorian Posted June 28, 2010 Share #9 Posted June 28, 2010 Cool deal! I did some work for their upcoming Clara Barton episode. They were going to film here at the NGMM, but they got permission to film at Florence Prison at the last minute so the plans changed. I still got a credit though! It'll air on July 12th. Corpl. Cleaver Posted June 29, 2010 Share #10 Posted June 29, 2010 Just saw the story about the Iwo Jima map, very interesting. I am just wondering how the guy got the map back. Considering there were 80,000 Marines on the island. Tyler
