WINGS-PATCHES Posted June 21, 2010 Share #1 Posted June 21, 2010 A direct purchase years ago from USAF Colonel many years ago. I wonder if it is an EVALUATION & TESTING subset of matching design on 29th Tac Recon which he also served in. Large "jacket size" and appears to be theater-made. Are these the patches of which you are inquiring?

Mark1 Posted June 22, 2010 Share #4 Posted June 22, 2010 the E patch could be a Flight patch of the 29th Tactical Reconnaissance Squadron
Randy Posted June 22, 2010 Share #5 Posted June 22, 2010 the E patch could be a Flight patch of the 29th Tactical Reconnaissance Squadron Most Tactical units in the USAF usually have only A thru D flights. Flying Training units have more, as do PACAF fighter units from about 1955 to 1964. I not saying it isn't, because I don't recognize it either, but it would be out of the norm if it was E flight from the 29 TRS. Randy
