horsa Posted June 22, 2010 Share #29 Posted June 22, 2010 Wow. Where'd you say that yardsale was? Not to dispute things coming in threes...but the old relic hunters used to say, the more I hunt the luckier I get.
agate hunter Posted June 23, 2010 Share #30 Posted June 23, 2010 :w00t: great finds!! it's always more exciting when they're cheap, and worth a lot more than what you paid. usually when i get to yard sales, they've either sold all the militaria already or it is newer stuff. anyways, great find once again. Old Marine Posted July 1, 2010 Author Share #32 Posted July 1, 2010 Thank you all for your nice comments. It's great to be able to post here and share a lucky find with others that can appreciate it. Awesome!!!....i can just imagine the rush of excitement you felt as you moved some woodland camo out of the way and spied the USMC WWII camo peeking back at you!.....mike You're right Mike. For as long as I have been collecting this stuff you'd think I wouldn't still get such a thrill out of turning up a gem, but I do, it's a great feeling. Not to dispute things coming in threes...but the old relic hunters used to say, the more I hunt the luckier I get. That's very true too. Persistence really is really a big part of luck.
