MattOravik Posted June 12, 2010 Share #1 Posted June 12, 2010 I just scored another early eagle snap canteen cover. Rounded flaps but it has the early hanger with tube. And I'm pretty sure, instead of "US" marked on front it's marked "NY". I added it to my cart and checked out so fast I forget. LOL. I'll post pics once it gets here. It was about $130.00 which I think is a steal anymore. -Matt.

After some tense moments of trying to get the one snap open it finally opened for me. But now I'm afraid to close them again. Anyone have any tips on how to make them unsnap easier? -Matt. Sgt Saunders Posted June 14, 2010 Share #20 Posted June 14, 2010 Sweet cover! I loves those marked ones. Now I really want to trade for it. You can try a little ivory soap or paraffin wax on the male part of the snap. Thanks for sharing. Dave
