alphie5002 Posted June 10, 2010 Share #1 Posted June 10, 2010 I just bought a lot of WWII items and this came with it. I am not sure how old this cartridge belt is or if it is a military item. I did some searching on the forum and did not find anything. This is definently out of my collecting realm (WWII-Vietnam) so any input would be appreciated. AustinO Posted June 11, 2010 Share #5 Posted June 11, 2010 Strikes me more as being European, the brass fittings on the box are a bit...weird. Edit, some sort of European cavalry cartridge box? 1890s-1910s?

flyer333555 Posted June 11, 2010 Share #8 Posted June 11, 2010 If that is US, it may be older than Spanish American. Here is a link to the Spanish American Krag rifle and it includes a cartridge box. US Militaria Forum on Krag Rifle I suspect it may not be US. Will continue searching...
