I would say it signifies 18 months overseas in WW1 with the 26th Div - worn on the lower left sleeve. Probably an unauthorized item worn by some state unit in the 1920's. USMCR79 Posted June 6, 2010 Share #6 Posted June 6, 2010 It is a patch worn on the uniform of a member of the YDVA (Yankee Division Veterans Association) This group was very active in the Boston area during the 1920's thru the 1950's.
