TBMflyer Posted July 21, 2007 Share #1 Posted July 21, 2007 Today being the anniversary of the Invasion of Guam, I thought I'd show a few items of my Great Uncle, Pharmacist Mate 1st Class William Gasperich. He was a corpsman with Co.B, 3rd Medical Bn, 21st Marines, 3rd Marine Division. He hit the beach on day 1. He was a great guy who is sorely missed. Was part of the pack mule system that was set up to take wounded from the front on Fonte Ridge, and 60mm mortar and 75mm ammo back to the front. Heres a photo on the ridge.
