Patriot Posted June 2, 2010 Share #3 Posted June 2, 2010 "Semper Vigilantes" was the motto of the 530th Coastal Artillery. This motto, though, was used by many foreign units - and as of right now, I can't seem to match up that design with the Insitutute of Heraldry. Cobrahistorian Posted June 2, 2010 Share #4 Posted June 2, 2010 Hmmm... I'd look into A-5A/RA-5C units. That may be a Vigilante unit patch.
Airborne-Hunter Posted June 2, 2010 Share #5 Posted June 2, 2010 The bird looks like a bald eagle and the patch looks like Japanese silk? If so it could be a unit from alaska that went to Japan. The embroidery looks very similar to my theater made kiska task force.......just some thoughts ABN
