I believe those are Field Artillery and Infantry officers, based on the branch insignia pinned or sewn onto their left collars and the rank insignia on their caps. The three officers on the right appear to be majors or lieutenant colonels, with oak leaves on their caps. The second officer from the right appears to have served in Vietnam with the brigade of the 82nd Airborne Division that was there (based on his Senior Jump Wings and CIB). NCOs would have worn subdued chevrons closer to the tips of their collars, and chevrons on their caps.
