Most peculiar that a FA Bn would be organic to a Separate Engineer Brigade.

Jump qualified infantryman of the 172nd Infantry Brigade with AIRBORNE tab, probably mid-70's. No DUI's or any other information about his unit within the brigade.

The 30th Engineer Brigade (Theater Army), headquartered in Charlotte, NC, and subordinate to XVIII Airborne Corps consists of one engineer group, one engineer battalion, and a corps support battalion. The engineer group and battalion provide a wide variety of engineer management and construction skills. Administratively, a field artillery brigade headquarters, one field artillery battalion (113th FA) and two military police companies are also attached to the Brigade.

What was previously the 30th Engineer Brigade is today the 30th Maneuver Enhancement Brigade (same SSI).  The 113th FA is no longer part of that brigade.  The 1-113th FA is part of the 30th Heavy Brigade Combat Team, NCNG and is equipped with the M190A7 Pallidan SP howitzer.  The 5-113th FA is part of 60th Troop Command, NCNG and equipped with HIMARS.

First paragraph should have been written in the past tense.
