USMC Quartermaster Patch...WWI???

I don't think it's Marine Corps. Never seen one like that on any USMC enlisted rank charts dating back to 1900 or even earlier. The speciatity mark doesn't look like anything the Marines have used. The Quartermaster Sergeants of the WWI era used straight bars below the bottom chevron.

Maybe someone else on the forum has a definate identification. :think:

Perhaps Civilian Conservation Corps?? not really certain, though.

My thought was also CCC, though it could also have been used by some type of military school or para-military organization. Keys can also mean knowledge, not just supply.

It's not CCC. I've attached an example of the CCC chevrons. They were green on red wool with a specialty device below the chevrons. I think Allan is correct with his guess of a military school or a para-military organization.

Note how crudely the cuts and stitching is on the reverse and it also appears to be very small...? Foreign item?
