Didn't see any Metalsmith 2/c. There are a Metalsmith 1/c and a Machinest Mate 3/c.

My one & only jumper...

 

An Aviation Quartermaster uniform ID'd to H.I.Roberts. A friend of mine actually gave me the uniform because he knew I would appreciate it (you bet I did!). This was something that was passed on to him by a friend of the family. It was her husband's uniform that we see here. When pressed for more information about Roberts, he couldn't add much more other than he was possibly assigned to a battleship during WWI. I still need to confirm this point...

 

Can anyone help me confirm Roberts' service record?

heres mine!

first a sea bee ww2, out of a VFW hall 2 weeks ago. has pants, no name. no sign of it ever having ribbons-- navyvet there stated not all received them.

second-- is from BORIS KAUFMAN A5 YOMAN WW2--promoted to ensign near wars end. he was on the USS STORM KING, PTO.

third-- is from a ANDREW GENTILE. know nothing about him. ww2????

Sorry for posting newer items, but these are my Dress Blues. I was issued these in the summer of 1989, they are contract dated 1987.

Mark, nothing wrong with new stuff, waiting for my daughter to send the pics of mine and my Dads jumpers to post them. By the way, I was pushing boots in Great Lakes in '89. If you went there and I yelled at you, it was nothing personal ;)
