cthomas Posted May 19, 2010 Share #40 Posted May 19, 2010 My one & only jumper... An Aviation Quartermaster uniform ID'd to H.I.Roberts. A friend of mine actually gave me the uniform because he knew I would appreciate it (you bet I did!). This was something that was passed on to him by a friend of the family. It was her husband's uniform that we see here. When pressed for more information about Roberts, he couldn't add much more other than he was possibly assigned to a battleship during WWI. I still need to confirm this point... Can anyone help me confirm Roberts' service record? -Chuck

sigsaye Posted May 19, 2010 Share #49 Posted May 19, 2010 Hello Sorry for posting newer items, but these are my Dress Blues. I was issued these in the summer of 1989, they are contract dated 1987. Thanks Mark Mark, nothing wrong with new stuff, waiting for my daughter to send the pics of mine and my Dads jumpers to post them. By the way, I was pushing boots in Great Lakes in '89. If you went there and I yelled at you, it was nothing personal Steve Hesson (retired SMCS, but former ASE3, flight deck rat)
