I came across this on Youtube.com when I was looking for footage on Udorn during the Vietnam War.

 

At first I though the topic had been misidentified...

 

However, if you read the narration along with the music, I am sure you will be moved:

 

 

"Ordie155 — November 24, 2009 — Remembering the 11th Tactical Reconnaissance Squadron, 432ND Tactical Reconnaissance Wing Stationed at Udorn RTAFB Thailand during the Vietnam War. My father was a member and had been Missing In Action since 1-17-67

 

In one of his final letters home, a few days before his loss, he wrote that he had been singing Waiting On A Train by Jimmie Rodgers and playing an old guitar he found. He promised that when he got home he would play and we kids would sing like we did before he left. Another song he sang to us was Cool Water, also included here. It has been over 42 years since he left us to go over there.

We still miss him..."
