After seeing some awesome GI layouts lately I thought I would give it a try.

Nice display and I for one don't think you can go overboard on this stuff, it's Army not Navy :D Well done!

One suggestion, officers did not share tents they are all issued two shelter halves, 10 pegs, 2 poles and two ropes, they were carried in the M-1936 Officer's Bedding Roll. Rank has its privileges.

Looks like MOLLE gear came out during WWII, I wonder when the transition from hygiene products to nylon web gear took place.............. :rolleyes:

Nice layout. Now put the early rear sight and the barrel band without a bayonet lug on the carbine and it's right on.
