Bones Posted November 13, 2008 Author Share #26 Posted November 13, 2008 Purchased this book before the auction from the family. There are some nasty combat pictures in this book.
Bones Posted November 13, 2008 Author Share #27 Posted November 13, 2008 This is like a scrap book. Pictures are pasted to the pages. Each picture has a number on the lower right corner. That number corresponds with an index in the beginning of the book that tells you what is going on.

Bones Posted March 1, 2009 Author Share #29 Posted March 1, 2009 I have had this together for some time in a box. Pt Shalberg was a replacement rifleman assigned to the 337th Infantry Regiment of the 85th ID. His European Theater ribbon has 2 stars. He was given credit for Naples Foggia, North Apennines, and Po Valley campaigns. There is more paper with this grouping including letters from Gen. Mark Clark on the end of hostilities. Not sure what everything means on the Italian flag.
