Your liner was manufactured post WWII using a Westinghouse mold. The double stamps occurred when Westinghouse acquired molds from CAPAC, Firestone, etc after they stopped production. Westinghouse then made liners, post WWII, under the Micarta name. Your liner is a post war manufactured Westinghouse(made on an original Westinghouse mold) with factory installed Olive Drab #7(green) webbing. It has not been rewebbed. As to when the Olive Drab #3(khaki) sweatband and nape strap were added? It's anyones guess. Firestone still was making liners after WWII and Korea. I have a liner that came with my new helmet that reads 62 F (firestone F) 108 It's a P55 High dome liner.
fshon Posted July 8 Share #52 Posted July 8 Has anyone seen this liner stamp before? I haven't. I can't find any info on it. Came with a Parish shell.
