WWII magazine pouch ID

Hello!

Got this couple of mint M1923 .45 Magazine Pouches. In 40 years of collecting such things (and others...) this is the very first time I see this maker: V.B. CO. I just knew that there are M1936 suspenders made by this firm during WWII, but this is the best of my knowledge. I would appreciate a lot if someone could tell what firm is behind this markings. Thanks a lot !!

Could this be an abbreviated stamp for "Varied", like "S.F. Co." is for "S. Froelich"?

Yes, that's a fine link with a lot of informations, but unfortunately it doesn't explain which manufacturers are behind some letters... I think that many of these firms will be never discovered as most of them are no more in business...

I'm still fighting with the F.S.F. marked .45 magazine pouches of WWI. No one seems, up today, able to explain who was F.S.F. ...Too bad, because this is the last still "hidden" manufacturer of these WWI pouches...
