Steel Pots Web Site... The Archived Version

Recommended Posts

For those who miss Chris Armolds "Steel Pots" web site that he shut down a few years ago leaving us all a little dumbfounded with his one sentence explanation saying that there was no more to discuss about the steel pot, I present to you, the archived version. It's not as neat and pretty as the original but, much of the information and some of the pictures are still there. Unfortunately, the collection section showing many of Armolds helmets as well as other collectors helmets, is not on there. Enjoy: STEEL POTS

Thanks for turning us on to it Bug.I'd never seen this before.

It used to be a much nicer site but, at least some of the good information that Chris had on his site isn't lost forever, unfortunately, much of it is.

Hello,

I've a question about this site. I see there's an ordre form for the first book (http://web.archive.org/web/20010126220700/www.steelpots.com/sp1orderform.htm). But everybody told me it's impossible to find it again in a library because out of stock and we can't order it. So, what's this order form ? Is it still activated ?

Thanks for response.

This is an archived copy of the old web site, sort of like an historical copy. However, it is not an active web site so, I would guess that the information concerning the order form is no longer active either.

This is an archived web site, meaning that it's just a snapshot of what was on the site years ago. The original website hasn't been active in years.

Yeah, I wouldn't suggest that anyone try ordering off of this archived site. I just posted the link for other collectors who may want to see the information concerning helmets that is still found on the old 'Steel Pots' site.
