HoovieDude Posted April 13, 2010 Share #1 Posted April 13, 2010 I searched for an answer, but didn't see anything. So, if my searchfu is bad, please let me know. Is there a decent way to get heavy rust deposits of the steel? I have this fix bail below that needs some TLC. Or is it better to just leave as is? Thanks. 19delta-uav Posted May 20, 2010 Share #4 Posted May 20, 2010 Whats up Hoovie, I just used the wet sanding method on a few beat up helmets I got and let me tell you it works wonders! Your rust looks a little deep, but if nothing more you can stop it from spreading. Tim
