HoovieDude Posted April 13, 2010 Author #4 Posted April 13, 2010 All you need now are a pair of repro Resistal goggles and the earphones from I was just told that by another member, lol. goggles, earphones, throat mic, and it never ends does it Thanks guys, glad to know it is a good one. Pure dumb luck in ebay, and a low BIN price!
OD MAN Posted April 13, 2010 #5 Posted April 13, 2010 Yes, VERY nice helmet. BTW these go for $200-300 on ebay in that condition.
HoovieDude Posted April 13, 2010 Author #6 Posted April 13, 2010 Thats why I crossed my fingers, took a chance, and hit the confirm button :nerv0003: Was 1/3 of the high number you just mentioned!
M24 Chaffee Posted April 13, 2010 #7 Posted April 13, 2010 Very nice tanker helmet! I was lucky to find one at a great price a few years ago. This looks like it came from the same large batch of tankers that were discovered overseas about 10 years ago. You can find some Polaroid, foam rubber goggles, type 1021, at decent prices to add to it. Regards, Frank
earlymb Posted April 13, 2010 #8 Posted April 13, 2010 Beautiful example! I think I paid 70.00 Euro for my size 7 3/8 Sears Saddlery in slightly used but excellent condition about 2 years ago. It also came from the Indian stash. Now that source seems to have dried up and the prices are going up again. I'll have to post some pics of it later... Greetz David
Paul Reijnders Posted April 13, 2010 #9 Posted April 13, 2010 Very nice M-1938 Tanker Helmet. Only a few of the big lot ( over 4000 !!! ) are super rare Tanker helmets. Made by Rawlings CLARK See eBay http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...=STRK:MESELX:IT Succes , regards, Paul
sgtdorango Posted April 13, 2010 #10 Posted April 13, 2010 I have been watching that one too!...I really want it, but it will probably be out of my range!!......mike :ermm:
BOLO Posted April 13, 2010 #11 Posted April 13, 2010 thats a well preserved tankers helmet, the liner looks like it's in really nice shape , must have been stored well.
HoovieDude Posted April 13, 2010 Author #12 Posted April 13, 2010 Thanks for chiming in fellas. Good to know I have a decent sample  And that Rawlings Clark is one fine piece. I was steered to the listing by one of the members here last night and we were discussing what we thought the general range of the final price would be. Both decided it is going to be a whopper!
