Just came into this, and from what I can tell, it is good. But, since I value the collective knowledge here, would like to get y'alls opinion.

Thanks

Yes, VERY nice helmet. BTW these go for $200-300 on ebay in that condition.

Thats why I crossed my fingers, took a chance, and hit the confirm button :nerv0003:

Very nice tanker helmet! I was lucky to find one at a great price a few years ago. This looks like it came from the same large batch of tankers that were discovered overseas about 10 years ago. You can find some Polaroid, foam rubber goggles, type 1021, at decent prices to add to it.

Beautiful example! I think I paid 70.00 Euro for my size 7 3/8 Sears Saddlery in slightly used but excellent condition about 2 years ago. It also came from the Indian stash. Now that source seems to have dried up and the prices are going up again. I'll have to post some pics of it later...

Greetz ;)

thats a well preserved tankers helmet, the liner looks like it's in really nice shape , must have been stored well.

Thanks for chiming in fellas. Good to know I have a decent sample

And that Rawlings Clark is one fine piece. I was steered to the listing by one of the members here last night and we were discussing what we thought the general range of the final price would be. Both decided it is going to be a whopper!
