User responses have been disabled.** Members of the USMF community: Today the administration suspended the account of community member "Kaspian." Yesterday evening "Kaspian" applied for membership at USMF. As with all new members, the administrator runs a basic Internet search of the individual's email and username to determine if there are any major red flags. This user's name and e-mail address immediately returned numerous hits discussing PM and e-mail misuse on other boards as well as fraudulent activity. The typical style of the scam is that he joins a website under one of his many aliases, makes no posts, and e-mails members (or PM's members) messages stating he has certain items for sale. Of course, he does not actually have the items. While USMF is not responsible for the actions of third parties, the administration in no way wants to openly allow a known scam artist in to prey on this community. So, in an interest to protect the members of this community, this account was banned from our server. Please use caution should you be contacted by any individual bearing this (or a similar) username. Also, caution is necessary when dealing with any individuals providing an email address or information similar to the following information that he used in scams on other forums: Name: Pavel (or Pawel) Nowak Known Usernames: Kaspian Kaspian-1 Kaspian_1 E-mail: [email protected] [email protected] [email protected] Address: Pavel Tomasz Nowak Ul.Piastowska 20/41 97-500 RADOMSCKO POLAND If anyone notices suspecious activity of a USMF member now or in the future and is concerned it may be this individual, please contact an administrator immediately.
