all-bull Posted March 15, 2010 Share #1 Posted March 15, 2010 Hey guys, I heard that these were worn by a certain type of people who helped out Navy SEALs on their operations. Maybe they were called OIs or something?? Does anyone know if anyone ever wore this patch, or is it just junk? It came from the SOS from a knowledgeable OIF vet and dealer, but Google is not helping me today. THANKS!!!
BEAST Posted March 15, 2010 Share #2 Posted March 15, 2010 "Palmam qui meruit ferat" is the motto of the University of Southern California which is also the home of the trojans. However yours has a different spelling of palm. USCs colors are cardinal and gold, not sure if this one has those same colors, they seem close. This patch is also on sale on eBay buy a US contractor who is in Kuwait. I have bought other patches from him, and they have all seemed legit. So I am not sure if this patch was made over there for a Navy SEALS support member or a USC fan.
