MWalsh Posted March 17, 2010 Share #5 Posted March 17, 2010 Fantastic that you all got to go on it! I flew on the Collings Foundation B-24 a few years ago - what an experience. It gave me an entirely new appreciation for what aircrew experienced and an appreciation for just how vulnerable one was in a bomber. The CAF in St Paul gives rides on their B-25 also - it's one of those things I need to do someday. I would recommend one of these flights to anyone - it has to be experienced first hand to truly have a real appreciation for what it must have been like in WW2. Thanks for posting!
