dogface44 Posted March 11, 2010 Author Share #8 Posted March 11, 2010 I just noticed the Afrika Korp cuff title on the guy on the lefts left arm, 3rd pic down.. Good eyes! The idea came from a 36th vet who actually did the same in Italy and France with a captured cuff title. Temp was ok. Thanks for your kind comments. jumpwings Posted March 11, 2010 Share #9 Posted March 11, 2010 Giles...Pass my compliments...Brilliant job, the authenticity is on the small details which you have created superbly...(however, we shy away from modern t-shirts... ) btw...I sent a text as I was going thru Mont Blanc tunnel, but it didn't send, but I didn't I really didn't have time mate...Would love to have dropped by and got some fondue...Elmara thought the Alps where just Awsome! docdean64 Posted March 21, 2010 Share #12 Posted March 21, 2010 Great looking photos DOGFACE ! Where is your unit based out of? I'm with "G Company" (141/36) the official Living History Unit of the Texas Military Forces Museum and the 36th Infantry Division (TX National Guard). We are interested in meeting other units who portray the 36th ID and would love to be in contact with other groups in the US and Europe who are doing so. Our unit, like yours, prides itself on a high level of authenticity and "doing it right". Would be anoxious to hear from you and any other 36th ID Units out there! ustpatcher1a Posted July 1, 2015 Share #13 Posted July 1, 2015 I just noticed the Afrika Korp cuff title on the guy on the lefts left arm, 3rd pic down.. Nice touch! Yes, good work. On FB there an Italian group doing 36th ID impressions that is very active and doing photos and videos on the real battle areas.
