gwb123 Posted November 23, 2011 Share #68 Posted November 23, 2011 AFAG-THAI & MAAG CAMBODIA On the round design on the right, Bill Kilpatrick had one of those in his collection. The story he had on it was that it had been made by King of the Lao Royal Family and presented to members of the team. Everyone should take a look at the very fine Lao script... this is a detail that is normally completely destroyed in the reproductions that are made. The same can be said about the details of the temple. This is only the second one of these I have ever seen.
Mitch Posted November 24, 2011 Share #69 Posted November 24, 2011 Cookieman , That is a great patch that Gil has eluded to. I have most of the others posted but I will add another not posted. The patch and arc are Thai made . The lettering on the arc is hand done. The color is more greener than what is shown. Later, Mitch
