Schnicklfritz Posted June 28, 2007 Share #1 Posted June 28, 2007 Here are some pics of an unmarked EGA. Was told this was a Ronson manufactured EGA. It has the dark chocolate brown finish and characteritics of the model 1920 EGA regs.

teufelhunde.ret Posted June 28, 2007 Share #3 Posted June 28, 2007 Very unique late pattern variation of 1908, based on the 1875 pattern. Love the swept wings and detail, full dress feathers right down to claws. How did you determine Ronson? Guy's, think this one is going to reference when done? BTW, is this one for sale...? Schnicklfritz Posted June 29, 2007 Author Share #4 Posted June 29, 2007 The fella I bought this from collected EGAs. I picked up a couple and he told me this was manufactured by Ronson. I wish I had picked up more, but lacked the $$$ at the time. Bought some nice WW1 groupings though. I was thinking that the lack of the rhombus line and the lines for the tropics along with the chocolate brown finish pointed to the 20's era EGA regulations. Were EGA's manufactured without the rhombus and tropic lines before the 20's? Cheers! Marc
