Guest mark caracci Posted June 28, 2007 Share #1 Posted June 28, 2007 Hey guys, It's nice to be part of your forum. I think these forums are a great way to learn by seeing so much material. With the correct moderation we can see some cool items and have lively constructive debates. Here is my second addition to your group...this didn't all come together mind you. The plaque and beret are named the other items like the gold tiger are form the same base FOB --Nah Trang. I believe the B-55 5th group worked from there... anyway, enjoy the pictures... Mark Caracci I'm always lookinng for great SEAL /SOG items!!!!

Patrick. Posted July 7, 2007 Share #4 Posted July 7, 2007 Hello Mark, some very nice items shown. Who is the tailor of the tiger stripe? I would like to see the label if at all possible when time permits. Patrick.

collectsmedals Posted August 6, 2007 Share #6 Posted August 6, 2007 Is the knife a Randall? It sort of looks like one the way the handle is formed.

doyler Posted September 2, 2007 Share #8 Posted September 2, 2007 Is the knife a Randall? It sort of looks like one the way the handle is formed. Not a Randall but similar in looks. This is a SOG knife and it appears to be the presentation model with the 5th SF Group inscription. These knives were based on a Marbles hunting knife and Ben Baker was instramental in the design and the procurement.I believe they were manufactured in Japan. There are several variations of the knife and also reproductions. The one shown is an outstanding original in mint condition.
