Hitman_one Posted February 9, 2010 Share #1 Posted February 9, 2010 I recently bought what im told are a pair of USMC corporal stripes, they are in red and gold colour.What im asking is what is the significance of what looks to me like Alladin's lamp underneath the stripes and what is it?.Sorry no picture..Thanks in advance. Jason G Posted February 9, 2010 Share #5 Posted February 9, 2010 Ahh, got it. "NJROTC" is "Naval Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps". Basically kids in high school going through a military style program that teaches drill, military science, etc. While they are in USMC colors, they are NOT USMC, but something used by a unit of the NJROTC (or an NJROTC 'Marine' oriented type program).
