Richard E. Cavazos, DSC Korea 3rd Division, South Vietnam 1st Division. In 80-81 he was the III Corps Commander when I was at Hood, III Corps HQ at Hood. He once drove past me when I was out and around on the Main Post in the early summer of 1980, I saluted his Flag, I think we're suppose to do that, so I threw out a smart one :D.

Emerson when he commanded the 2nd Division in South Korea in the 70s, this photo was posted in another topic in full, he's with Joe Di'Maggio, still wondering why he's wearing a ankh cross on his field jacket.

William W. Roush DSC OLC, was in actions that seen him awarded them practically back to back, 5 January 1968 and 28 Febuary 1968, both awards I imagine were Posthumously awarded.

Can not find a photo of Roush I,m sorry to say.

See commentary on page for Maj Roush.

Hi Chris, It has been a long time. Can you tell me where you found this photo of BG Reuben Tucker while he was with the 101st ABN DIV?

Thanks, Carl

I am still ardently collecting photos of US Army Airborne/Infantry General/Colonels/Sgt Majors from WWII-present. I just happened to see the photo you posted while I was searching for another image. I would love a high-res scan of the photo if possible.

By the way, you mentioned that you knew General Hollingsworth while you were in Texas. I have some beautiful, full color, high-resolution scans of his photos as a Major General. I would be happy to send the scans to you if you like. Just send me your e-mail.

Check out MacNider’s direct embroidered collar insignia.   Don’t see that too often.

I have only seen that on 1st Division officer's coat collars. I once owned a doctor's uniform with embroidered insignia, and I have handledan engineer officer's and seen an infantry officer's coat with it. All were 1st Division officers.

Uniform is French made. He also has 3 Silver Stars on his WW1 Victory Medal for citations.

Note that the vintage photo of MacNider is the EXACT same uniform as the one Doyler shows. WOW!
