Throttle / Power lever / quadrant for F4U Corsair

I've had this for about a month, and I have been trying to ID the Aircraft it came from. After a little digging on the internet, I think It is from an F4U Corsair. Is there anyone that can confirm or deny??

I just happen to have an F4U pilot's manual for sale these days and that does indeed look like the power plant control unit shown in the manual. I'll try to get you a bigger scan later today. The No. 6 arrow points to the controls -

That's really neat!!

No offense, but I always thought it would be cool to hook a rig like that up to the side of my bathroom toilet :w00t: , and hang a big poster I have of a bomber cockpit interior on the wall in front of the seat. Then you'ld be all set for a "bombing run!"

But that's just me and my sick sense of humor.

Nice!.....this isnt in my collecting interest but its really cool (because everyone loves the Corsair!!)and i am going to watch and see what it goes for!!...good luck!!....mike :thumbsup:
