I picked this up yesterday during my lunch break during work at a garage sale. I'm not sure exactly what kind it is, or it's value, but it has to be worth more than I paid!

Can you guys help me out with ID'ing this one?

Thanks,

Adam

Well, I just found out that PAL's RH 37 is a Navy Mk2 fighting knife. Anyone know an approximate value for this one? Also, does anyone have a spare scabbard for sale I could add to this one for display?

Thanks,

Adam

Nice one: they do go for perhaps a couple hundred dollars with scabbard.

nice find, I dont usually see them with US NAVY markings

I heard they also used civillian hunting knives without USN markings

Thanks everyone! I'm hoping to find a scabbard to go with this one for my USMC combat display.

fine piece save for the broken tip which can be repointed tho at what cost I'm clueless...

Sheaths are leather (expensive - and COPIED versions of same - some aged to deceive) and plastic (much cheaper and plentiful).

good score. keep eyes further peeled.... but watch out - easy to get hooked!
