Guest picka002 Posted January 2, 2008 #8 Posted January 2, 2008 My father was the pharmacist mate on the USS Sibley and its history was not quite as uneventful as the previous person that replied. His shipmates were gracious enough to transfer his plank to me upon his death ten years ago. The USS Sibley Association is still very active and organized. I have a copy of the ships log that I would be happy to get to you if you desire. They were very active as a support vessel in the South Pacific in WWII. Regards, Bill
