Is it a wolf-brown plastic covered ribbon bar? Hard to tell from the photo. Look for writing or marks on the back.

Yes, there is a plastic on it. I see "Pat. No. 2392351" and "Day #######", I can't read the numbers. There are WWII clutchbacks.

Its likely WWII vintage then. These are not hard to find, as many vets received this award.
