kphfun Posted January 3, 2010 Share #1 Posted January 3, 2010 I got this guy today, I think it is a 1952 made air mattress made by Goodyear. This rubber is soft and flexible for a 58 year old item with no cracking or any damage I can see, it seems never to have been used. Would this have been used in Vietnam? 11b inf Posted January 3, 2010 Share #5 Posted January 3, 2010 we were still getting the airmatts in the early 80's as well, the plain ones and the ones that were insulated..those darn things were leaky and allways had holes in them i was glad when the plastic roll mats came out in the mid 80's. ..vince g. 11B Inf..
