Latest and greatest, 1092 leather helmet with acoustics earcups, modified goggle straps, oxy snaps. Well used. Doesn't get much better than that.

Thanks. Unfortunately no.

Still, really nice, a lot of work put into that one, the pilot must have been pretty particular!

Latest setup. You all know I have a nylon fetish. I cannot resist a nice nylon helmet with reinforced oxy snaps. Not common to see them, this is my latest setup displayed with newly acquired commercial MKIV goggles.20201120_095637.jpg.72d849092ecd75fab7a5746f6b3f4365.jpg20201120_095648.jpg.a6edfa41b99ad771df1f06e8bfe20a66.jpg20201120_095653.jpg.6de3a88a73fe6dc5bf7c791cdebaeb66.jpg20201120_095713.jpg.b083734ac4e35e099a393290a7541214.jpg20201120_095737.jpg.b1ff2be17e9245b39ab08d1f090219ea.jpg20201120_095742.jpg.971cb026b2eca1dfeae8ba80b3fc1f50.jpg

Latest and greatest. This setup is one of the best helmets I have. Truly a unique setup. What we have here is a commercial deck helmet that has been heavily customized by adding a padded chinstrap with multiple rows of snaps for adjustment. Chinstrap is made of navy sail cloth and the material was also used for the added goggle straps in the back. Basically everything is customized on this helmet. Goggles came with it and have the initials JS on them.

What a beauty, the goggles are great too! The sewn in padding in the chin strap is a nice touch.

You must have a log of people on the lookout for you!🙂

Thank you. There is a display I just made of some of my best setups in my office.

Where did I miss that the white deck rigger made helmet came out of Canada?  I can think of several reasons why such a helmet ended up or started life in Canada.

After reading your comment it appears that you are at a crossroads; stay in the U.S. and enjoy your excellent collection or move to France without them. We aren't allowing you to move one of the best Navy Flight Helmet collection amassed to another country, besides we want you stay.   Gregg

Thanks Gregg. I hope you are doing well. I am staying put for now, we will see what the future brings. If I go to France I guess I will have to sell all of them to you, I can give you a bulk discount :)
