Of course some issues could be better. 7/10 for me:) but why they used a USAAF T-30 throat mics? It was a tear in my eye for sure. I hope you are well! Jerry
Charlie Flick Posted November 27, 2019 Share #587 Posted November 27, 2019 Hello Jerry: More marvelous improvements to your display. I salute you! I especially like seeing the Australian-made square tip machete, a very scarce item even here in the USA and doubly so in Europe, no doubt. I also like the M1936 pistol belt modified with the ammunition loops for the .38 Special Tracer ammo for the S&W Victory. A very nice, authentic touch there. I share your thoughts on the film MIDWAY. Many excellent parts, some not so excellent. I graded it as a B+ effort and am glad that I saw it. Keep up the good work. You are an inspiration to the rest of us. Regards, Charlie

jerry_k Posted November 28, 2019 Share #589 Posted November 28, 2019 Thanks Charlie. The Australian machete is one of the my favorite items. A lot of USN/USMC aviators used it! What a pity that only I and a few people put here some US NAVY aviators stuff. I guess more forum members have a great Naval Aviation items in his collections. Thanks Navybean and thanks for the mirror ! Cheers, Jerry
