André BOB Posted December 18, 2009 Share #26 Posted December 18, 2009 I am wondering if some of you visited the mock up battle in Vaux-sur-Sure. The 'Band of brothers" group was supposed to participate in that battle but withdraw after finding out that a group of Waffen SS 're-enactors' was on site. Re-enacting the Waffen SS is forbidden in many European countries although Belgium seems to allow it. A strange situation as the Waffen SS performed many warcrimes against US POWs and the civilian population during The Battle of the Bulge. Although I shot some photos of these Waffen SS 're-enactors', I will keep them off line. This group is supposed to be based in Switserland(?). At least one of this group spoke in French language.
