Is a rear seam swivel bales, on the inside 4 black ink stamps reads "Control 687" Major Rank insignia is welded on front, 91st ID Emblems are painted in bright green enamel on both sides. BOLO Posted December 12, 2009 Share #3 Posted December 12, 2009 I had a DUTCH M1 with the markings like that inside , it could be a foreign made shell with US insignia added? maybe an officer in the 91st Inf div customized it? Army Reserve In December 1946, the 91st was reactivated at the Presidio of San Francisco as part of the U.S. Army Reserve.
