Help id'ing Korean or Vietnam era Jet Helmet

Crater,

 

Hard one here without more pictures. APH-6....or HGU-2P...man hard to tell as the O-2 fittings are not right. at least they look add on to me. The Tape Job looks period Viet Nam and original to the helmet. "S T" could easily be the units tail flash.

www.best-of-flightgear.dk is an AWESOME site for helmet references. Maybe some other guys will hop in, but it looks Viet Nam to me, and Navy.

your helmet is an usn APH5 from early 60s updated with 1969 APH6C/D radio headset

 

i ll let you know if I can identify the squadron

ST should be the name initials
