WWII MAJOR'S BOULLION KHAKI

OK Schottzie - I have relented! I have been promising you that I would post this, and "Mr. Procrastination" finally got around to doing it! I figured that as long as I was photographing the 3rd ID uniform, I'd get a shot of this one too. I should be getting a smaller bust to display my uniforms on - this way you guys can see some of my other uniforms. (Nice ones, if I may say so myself!)

 

This uniform, and pants, though not named on the cloth, belonged to an Army Air Force Major who served in the CBI theater during the war. These had ribbon bars on them, but the family had removed them. I plan on finding an identical set to go on this.

Wow! Thats awesome! Its interesting that the bullion is so dark on the khaki, normally its seen on the chocolate blouses more.Great find and I appreciate the photos!
