Steindaddie Posted December 1, 2009 Share #5 Posted December 1, 2009 59-0419 is a survivor. It served in a half dozen or so active duty and air guard units and is now on display at Malmstrom AFB Montana.
48MMS Posted December 2, 2009 Share #6 Posted December 2, 2009 Having no F-101 pics, I do however have this custom built F-101B from the 437th FIS.

Lee Ragan Posted February 8, 2010 Share #8 Posted February 8, 2010 While stationed at K.I. Sawyer AFB, Michigan in the late 1960's with the 410th Bombardment Wing, I had the chance to see VooDoo's of the 62nd Fighter Interceptor Squadron (Air Defense Command), on a daily basis. The 101 was big and LOUD! In July 1969, I was lucky enough to get a back seat ride in a T-33 trainer that was a"Target", for F-101's to practice intercepts. It was quite an experience to see these big boys in flight up close from another airplane. With a fuselage nearly as long as a B-17 and all that power made for one impressive fighter. I'll never forget it!
