Cobrahistorian Posted November 28, 2009 Share #2 Posted November 28, 2009 I always thought the A3J-1/A-5 Vigilante was a sexy airplane! Thanks for posting! Jon

USMC_GAU-21 Posted November 28, 2009 Share #4 Posted November 28, 2009 That is a great shot! Looks over So. Cal somewhere? Almost looks like 29 Palms or up farther north somewhere in the Edwards Range complex. the "viggie" is a neat airplane. We have two here at Pax River. what you forget by looking at her sleek lines is she is one big airplane! Thanks for posting! r - Gy Dan
Johnny Signor Posted November 30, 2009 Share #5 Posted November 30, 2009 Probably California as it looks like it is one of the early first prototypes seeing as it has the "Vigilante" title on her nose still, Beautiful Bird to say the least ! There is a memorial museum to the Viggie out of Sanford Florida if you get a chance to get over that way it's worth seeing !
