kphfun Posted November 26, 2009 Share #1 Posted November 26, 2009 Churning out a few more web sets and I thought this one is kind of neat. Other then I cant read a date on the ammo belt all other parts show a 1945 date, what I find different is the cover for the canteen as it is smooth faced , it is the first one I have found like this. Any thoughts?

artu44 Posted November 26, 2009 Share #7 Posted November 26, 2009 The ctg belt sections are from korean war (OD7 colour with brass buckle) while joining strap is khaki OD3 (early WWII).
Captainofthe7th Posted November 27, 2009 Share #8 Posted November 27, 2009 I had a smooth faced canteen cover and I believe it was mid 50s USMC. It was unmarked and kind of cheesy, but it was US made. Rob

Rob Thanks Rob as at least I know someone else has had one. This one is dated 1945 made by Calloway Mills.
